What’s FAB CBD’s mission?
Our goal is to create high-quality CBD products that make everyone feel comfortable, even people who aren’t as familiar with hemp. We want to provide people with wellness products that meet a variety of needs.
What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
My first business was selling home phone service and long distance service to all my friends and family in 2004. My first commission check was more than what I was making at my other three jobs combined. I realized I had no idea what I was doing in college anyway, so I dropped out, quit my other jobs, and went into business full-time. Fast forward over a decade and a dozen companies later, I most recently founded FAB CBD, a wellness company I started that has more than doubled in revenue for 3 years in a row.
If you could go back and do something differently, what would you do?
My trajectory would be completely different if I were told to focus faster, build a strategy faster, and get to data faster. Stop spending so much time on the intangible things. Get your head out of the clouds and build out a strategy of how to get from A to B to C.
I waited too long to get started because I was listening to all the “gurus” tell me about how to be successful. I spent too long reading about success, talking about success, and thinking about success. But what I needed to do was go to work. Take those ideas and make them real. Focus on the strategy, not the motivation.
