Joi-Lin Hunt’s Rise From Betrayal to Business Brilliance

Joi-Lin Hunt’s journey is one of strength, resilience, and reinvention. After being locked out of her own businesses and bank accounts by an abusive husband, Hunt faced the unimaginable. Instead of crumbling, she rose from betrayal with determination, building back her empire from the ground up.

Her story began in the legal world. After obtaining her Master’s in Tax Law from Southern Methodist University in 2005, she started her career with International Tax Advisors. But Joi-Lin was never meant to stay behind a desk forever. In 2007, she launched The Hunt Law Group and Caliente Xpress Tax Service, an income tax franchise that brought her financial independence.

However, life took a creative turn when she watched the documentary Good Hair, which exposed her to the billion-dollar hair industry. She saw potential and founded Crème de la Crème Hair, an upscale extension boutique in Houston. Soon after, her products were being featured on VH1’s Basketball Wives and in Justin Bieber’s music videos.

But she didn’t stop there. In 2012, she founded Super Weave Xpress—offering $50 sew-in weaves. The idea caught fire. In a short span, she grew the business to 10 locations across Texas and Louisiana, transforming it into a multimillion-dollar success.

Then came her lowest point. With her marriage falling apart, Hunt was shut out of everything she had built. But instead of feeling helpless, she decided to fight back harder than ever before.

She diversified, co-founding Hollywood Motors, which also scaled into a multimillion-dollar car dealership in just two years. She added Hollywood Insurance and Hollywood Collision to form a comprehensive auto ecosystem.

Despite everything, Hunt never lost her drive to help others. In 2020, she started The Firm Credit and Business Group, offering accessible legal and business services to aspiring entrepreneurs. Her See You At the Bank program provides business mentorship and challenges, empowering others to take charge of their lives.

Today, Joi-Lin Hunt is not just an entrepreneur—she’s a movement. Her story proves that even after life’s most brutal betrayals, you can reclaim your power and rewrite your narrative. She’s living proof that resilience pays, and success is the best form of revenge.
